THE SURA MARY AND NUMBER 19

The sura “Mary” is the 19th sura and is introduced with the initial letters “Kaf, He, Ya, Ayn, Sad.” This sura, whose sura number is important, has the longest combination of initial letters in one verse. (The combination, “Ha, Meem, Ayn, Seen, Qaf” in the 42nd sura is used in two verses.) These 5 letters are used 798 (19×42) times throughout the sura “Mary.”

Additionally, in the 19th sura, if we put the mathematical values of “Kaf, He, Ya, Ayn, Sad” next to each other we get 20 5 10 70 90 = 19 x 10795110.

There are minor attributes in which the miracle of 19 is made manifest along with the basic characteristics of these suras. But in order not to exceed the limits of our book or to distract our readers’ minds from the fundamental subjects, we shall leave many of those attributes out.
